ENT Quest wins Red Herring Asia 100 Award

ENT Quest announced today that it has won of the Red Herring Asia 100 Award for the AXIA SOHO Desktop HSDPA Communications Computer (Fifth Media is the global marketing arm of ENT Quest). This new communications computer is a single box solution, with a small desktop footprint (45mm x 175 x 175mm), that delivers a wide array of communications, networking and server functions.

Easy to set up and simple to integrate with other equipment, this device is a complete office-automation solution with HSDPA broadband, WiFi access points for LAN, SIP & VoIP communications, SoftPBX calling features, and Fax & Print server. Also, the AXIA SOHO can be used to playback video on a monitor (e.g. for use at the office lobby to promote the organization and/or its products), or as a desktop PC for the receptionist.

The built-in HSDPA router provides mobile connectivity anywhere there is 3G coverage with speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. Additionally, the unit can be connected to the Internet via a wire line service such as DSL. This Desktop Communicator is ideal for small businesses. It offers an instant wireless office for new start up to provide instant phone line for business contact, and instant Internet connectivity for email and using WiFI to provide the wireless local area network.
